Pretty Good: BUT...No tech support., May 17, 2012 By THE ULTIMATE PIZZA MANUAL Fan (New York) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Vizio E191VA 19-Inch 60 Hz Class Edge Lit Razor LED LCD HDTV - Black (Electronics) NO AUDIO ON ARRIVAL (through the L/R audio inputs). AND NO PHONE TECH SUPPORT to speak of. Person who answered the phone (Manuel) at VIZIO says, "There is no way to connect an audio input to this TV" and refuses to put a person who knows what he or she is talking about on the phone -- or knows what ~I~ am talking about. TV is going back in the box.
UPDATE: Turns out that the audio input doesn't work without plugging in the video input, which I hadn't connected yet. Too bad the VIZIO "rep" didn't know this and tell me.
Picture quality: Pretty good, almost as good as the hi-def, HDMI picture.
This television is poorly crafted., June 8, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Vizio E221VA 22-Inch 60 Hz Class Edge Lit Razor LED LCD HDTV - Black (Electronics) Okay, let me first start about by saying this, I have yet to even USE this television, so I will not be reviewing quality of picture or sound. This television is sort of a standard HDTV in that it has the screen itself and a base which the consumer must attach. This base and the bottom of the screen where they are supposed to come together are the most poorly crafted pieces of equipment I have EVER touched. The base itself requires multiple people to even think about putting it on, it is supposed to slide on, however this is not even an option. They have screw holes on both sides so you might be thinking "Why don't I just screw it together?" Great question, here is a simple answer: There is a metal plate stopping you from putting it together that way. Overall just the assembly of this television is not worth the price. I will update should I ever get this thing together, but heed my words, this is the worst television I have ever purchased by far.
